Tajikistan Receives Another Batch of Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccines

DUSHANBE, 03.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On the night of February 3, Tajikistan received 147,420 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine as part of the COVAX mechanism and the program for the fair distribution of vaccines against COVID-19, reported the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
The vaccines will be stored in a special warehouse and will be delivered to cities and districts of the country as needed.
The immunization campaign against COVID-19 is in full swing throughout the country.
As of February 1, 4,594,703 people, or 79.7% of citizens have been vaccinated in Tajikistan. Also, 3,902,269, or 67.7% of citizens received the second dose of the vaccine.
