GBAO Completes Spring Conscription Plan on the First Day

DUSHANBE, 01.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – As of April 1, the spring conscription plan in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) was fulfilled by 102.5% on the first day.
On the first day, eight cities and districts in GBAO were the first to report the completion of the conscription campaign.
On April 1, according to the Law “On Military Duty and Military Service” and in accordance with the presidential decree “On the transfer to the reserve of military personnel who have served the established terms of military service, and the next conscription of citizens born in 1995-2004 for military service” in all cities and districts, an organized campaign began to conscript citizens for compulsory military service.
Starting from 2018, GBAO is the first in the country to announce the implementation of the plan in all recruiting campaigns for young men.
