Tajikistan Receives Over 14.5 Million Doses of Vaccines Against COVID-19

DUSHANBE, 23.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan received a total of 14,516,060 vaccine doses against the COVID-19 as part of the global COVAX mechanism and as humanitarian aid, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population reports.
These vaccine brands include AstraZeneca, CoronaVac, Moderna, Pfizer, and Sputnik V.
As of April 20, 5,202,268 people, or 92.8% of the adult population of the country, received the first dose of coronavirus vaccines.
The second dose of the vaccine was received by 5,027,496 or 89.8% of the population, and 1,756,058 people (31.4%) received the third dose.
