Fire of Memory Will Arrive Today from Moscow to Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 07.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the organizers of the Fire of Memory will deliver the flame taken from the c at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow, reported the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Tajikistan.
“On May 7, Saturday, at 12:30 at the Russian-Tajik Secondary School of the Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University (109 Shevchenko Street), a ceremony will be held to hand over the capsule of the Fire of Memory lit from the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow to Dushanbe. According to the mission of the action, a particle of the Eternal Flame in special capsules will be transferred for permanent storage to secondary educational institutions so that the younger generation will know and honor the history of the Great Patriotic War,” Rossotrudnichestvo said.
The Fire of Memory traditionally takes place on the eve of Victory Day. This year, participants will deliver lamps with particles of the Eternal Flame to veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in 17 regions of Russia and in 12 states participating in the action.
The event to distribute the flame started on May 6 from Alexander Garden in Moscow. Lamps with fire will also be delivered to Armenia, Israel, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.
