DUSHANBE, 24.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The State Flag, like other state symbols, plays an important role in the formation of patriotic feelings among the citizens of the country, love for the motherland. According to the data of the Committee for Construction and Architecture, the government of Tajikistan  pays due attention to this issue.

“Today, 90% of Tajikistan, which means that almost all cities and district, has squares with flagpoles on which the State Flag flutters. In the near future, flagpoles with squares will also be built in the remaining about 3 districts, where citizens will relax and hold cultural events,” Committee said.

The Committee emphasized that in all areas and corners of the country, work on improvement and creation continues, so that in the near future squares and flagpoles will decorate 65 cities and districts.

While congratulating the citizens of Tajikistan today on the State Flag Day President Emomali Rahmon noted that the citizens are obliged to unite even more under the State Flag, make efforts to protect the borders of the Motherland, strengthen the new statehood, not lose political vigilance, defend national and state interests, appreciate peace and tranquility, political stability, strengthen national unity, further enhance the authority of Tajikistan in the international arena.
