DUSHANBE, 23.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan and Greece plan to increase trade turnover. This was stated yesterday at the meeting of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Abdurahmon Abdurahmonzoda with the Ambassador of Greece to Tajikistan with residence in Moscow Ekaterina Nasika.
The meeting focused on the possibility of creating joint ventures in free economic zones, the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of electronic commerce and other important issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation.
It was noted that the existing potential of the two countries in the field of trade and economy is still not used properly, there is a possibility of increasing the bilateral trade turnover of goods and products.
A number of proposals were presented, including the creation of favorable conditions for finding new markets and buyers of agricultural products, the export of environmentally friendly goods and products of Tajikistan, such as fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, honey and soft drinks.
