Three Tajik Athletes Become World Champions

DUSHANBE, 23.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik athletes took part in the Jiu-Jitsu World Championship, which was held from November 8 through November 18 in Abu Dhabi.
Among Tajik athletes, Abubakr Davlatov (27 kg), Munis Davlatov (30 kg) and Bilol Umarov (56 kg) became world champions.
Three more have won bronze medals. They are Sulton Azamatov (27 kg), Shahrom Mahmurodov (56 kg) and Oraz Yokutkhonov (65 kg).
According to the President of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation of the country Rajabali Tursunzoda, the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs supported athletes to take part in the World Championship.
