Tajik Athletes Will Take Part in the Asian Athletics Championship

DUSHANBE, 02.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik athletes will take part in the 2023 Asian Athletics Indoor Championship, which will be held on February 10-12 in Astana.
The championship was supposed to take place on February 11-13 last year, but was postponed for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than 500 athletes from 31 countries are expected to compete in 26 types of athletics.
Tajik team consisting of Ildar Ahmadiev, Favoris Muzrapov, Leonid Pronzhenko, Alexander Pronzhenko and Muhammadrizo Mirzozoda will leave for Astana.
Athletes (women and men) will compete in the 60m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 60m hurdles, high jump, pole vault, long jump, triple jump, shot throw, pentathlon (women’s), heptathlon (men’s) and 4 x 400 m relay.
