DUSHANBE, 16.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, a photo exhibition was opened in the National Museum of Tajikistan in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of sister city relations between Dushanbe and the Chinese Xiamen.

The Deputy Chairman of Dushanbe Sijouddin Salomzoda and the Zhuang Rongliang opened the exhibition.

It featured more than 30 photographs by famous photographers and photojournalists of China, who captured the beautiful landscapes of Xiamen, the city’s achievements over the years, the moments of leisure and leisure of citizens and other aspects of the activities of Xiamen leaders.

Representatives of republican and city organizations, the diplomatic corps, international and regional organizations took part in the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition.

The delegation of Xiamen, along with meetings and conversations with the leadership of Dushanbe, also visited the historical and tourist sites of the capital.

The guests also got acquainted with the activities of several institutions, enterprises and service centers, including the Istiklol Square and the architectural complex of the Istiklol symbol, the Kokhi Navruz complex, the Akia Avesto Automative Industry LLC joint automobile enterprise, the Mehrgon shopping center and others.

The delegation also met with the First Deputy Chairman of Dushanbe Jamshed Tabarzoda.

The meeting focused on issues related to the strengthening and further development and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of sister city relations.

The parties paid special attention to expanding cooperation in economic and investment, cultural, humanitarian and other issues of interest, including the green and digital economy.
