Sughd Region Will Hold Kuknor-2023 Preventive Operation

DUSHANBE, 31.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – From June 1 through November 30, the Kuknor-2023 operation will be held in the Sughd region.
The regional headquarters of the operation and operational-search groups will be created to organize the work, control and coordination of the relevant bodies.
The operation is aimed at the identify and destroy wild and illegally cultivated drug-containing plants, block the routes of illegal drug trafficking, as well as conduct comprehensive propaganda and preventive measures among various segments of the population.
The relevant departments were instructed to prevent drug abuse and crimes related to drug trafficking, coordinating councils for the prevention of drug abuse — to carry out comprehensive preventive, propaganda and educational activities among the population.
