Tajikistan and Azerbaijan Discuss Issues of Countering Extremism and Terrorism

DUSHANBE, 02.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – From April 29 through May 1, the Prosecutor General of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon was on a working visit to Azerbaijan.
As part of the visit, he met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Kamran Aliyev.
The meeting focused on issues of countering extremism, terrorism, drug trafficking, and cybercrime.
The topic of recognizing dangerous organizations as terrorist in the territory of two states and countering transnational organized crime was also touched upon.
