Issues of Creating Enterprises and Attracting Chinese Investments Discussed in Bokhtar

DUSHANBE, 16.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The issues of construction of industrial enterprises in the Khatlon region were discussed by the Chairman of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said and a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs and investors.
It was emphasized that the Khatlon region is one of the largest regions of the country. It accounts for 36 percent of the country’s population and is considered agrarian. The region produces 60 percent of various agricultural products.
It was noted that the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management is working on mutually beneficial cooperation on behalf of the Government of Tajikistan with Chinese entrepreneurs and investors. Industrial enterprises producing high-quality cement and decorative tiles operate in the region, which contributes to providing citizens with vacancies.
Chinese entrepreneurs and investors expressed their views on the construction of a fruit and vegetable processing plant.
We have the opportunity to process these products by building industrial enterprises. Davlatali Said emphasized that thanks to independence, conditions have been created in Tajikistan for the construction of various enterprises in the framework of comprehensive cooperation with a number of countries.
