Tajik and Russian Interior Ministries Hold a Meeting of the Joint Board

DUSHANBE, 06.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 5, Tajik and Russian Interior Ministries held a meeting of the Joint Board in Guliston.
The meeting focused on the issues of collective struggle against modern dangers such as terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, as well as strengthening further cooperation between the internal affairs bodies in order to detain wanted criminals, uses the professional skills of forensic expertise, investigation and inquiry, operational services and communications.
The two parties paid attention to the prevention of crimes using modern technologies, theft of money using these means, including theft of electronic money, financing of extremist and terrorist networks.
The meeting also focused on the issues of training highly qualified personnel for the areas of activity of the internal affairs bodies using the capabilities of higher educational institutions of the Russian Interior Ministry.
Responsible representatives of the ministries of both parties called the meetings of the joint board a factor in strengthening cooperation and permanent relations.
The parties agreed that the collective struggle will play a significant role in the eradication of crime and crimes such as terrorism and extremism, drug and weapons trafficking, cybercrime and other transnational forms of illegal actions.
