Commencement of working visit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

DUSHANBE, 18.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 18, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, arrived in the city of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in order to participate in the First Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of Central Asia and the Arab Gulf countries.
At Jeddah International Airport named after Shah Abdulaziz, the high-ranking guest — the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, was warmly welcomed by the Emir of Makkah Mukarramah province, the Advisor to the King of Saudi Arabia, Prince Khalid Al Faisal and other officials.
In order to welcome the distinguished guest, the airport deck was festively decorated, and soldiers of the Guard of Honor were lined up on both sides of the special walkway.
It is expected that the Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon will participate and speak at the First Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Arab Gulf on July 19 in the city of Jeddah.
As part of this working visit, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, will meet with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman, and other high-ranking representatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
