Ten Judokas Represent Tajikistan at the Tokyo Grand Slam

DUSHANBE, 30.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik judo team will take part in the next World Judo Tour – Tokyo Grand Slam, consisting of 10 people.
The tournament will take place from December 2 through December 3 with the participation of 500 athletes from more than 84 countries.
Tajikistan will be represented by 10 athletes among men, including Muhammedsoleh Kuvvatov, Mehrzod Sufiev both in weight up to 60 kg, Emomali Nurali, Obid Jebov both in weight up to 66 kg, Behruz Khojazoda, Abubakr Sherov both in weight up to 73 kg, Somon Mahmadbekov, Muhammadjon Abdujalilzoda both in weight up to 81 kg, Komronshoh Ustopiriyon in weight up to 90 kg and Emomrizo Anvarzoda in weight up to 100 kg.
The total prize fund is €154,000. Winners in all 14 weight categories will receive prizes in the amount of €5,000, silver medal winners in the amount of €3,000 and bronze medalists in the amount of €1,500.
