Buston Hosts Regular Meeting of Working Groups of Government Delegations of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic

DUSHANBE, 04/13/2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. In accordance with the agreement reached, from April 7 to April 13, 2024, in the city of Buston, Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan, a regular meeting of topographic working groups and working groups on legal issues of the Government delegations of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the delimitation and demarcation of the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border was held.
According to the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan, as part of this meeting, topographic working groups conducted joint field surveys on the remaining sections of the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border.
The parties will continue to work on describing the remaining areas at the next meeting, which will take place on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
