DUSHANBE, 11.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, at 17:20, one citizen, out of hooligan motives, after praying near the central mosque of Dushanbe, stabbed the body of the Chairman of the Council of Ulema of Tajikistan Abdulkodirzoda Saidmukarram with a stabbing and cutting instrument and violated public order, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
After taken operational measures, the criminal was promptly detained by the internal affairs bodies.
Abdulkodirzoda suffered minor injuries as a result of the criminal’s attack and after being examined by doctors, he was escorted to his home.
On this fact, a criminal case has been filed by the internal affairs bodies, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
