EDB Ready to Increase the Volume of Financing for Projects in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 11.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 9, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Zavki Zavkizoda met with the Director of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) in Tajikistan Vladimir Yakunin.
It was expressed the need for the Eurasian Development Bank to increase financing for priority projects in the country’s economy, including industry, energy, agriculture, tourism, trade, education, healthcare and digitalization.
Yakunin expressed his readiness to increase the volume of financing for projects in Tajikistan.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to develop new priority projects in the areas of the national economy.
