French Company Interested in Building HPPs in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 20.02.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The French company «Carpi» has shown interest in building hydropower plants on the Zarafshon River. This was stated on February 19 in Dushanbe during a meeting between Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan Manuchehr Safarzoda and representatives of the company.
It was presented the company’s capabilities, potential, international experience and implemented projects, in particular, in the field of construction of hydroelectric dams in various countries.
Representatives of Carpi expressed their readiness to participate in the implementation of priority projects in the country’s energy sector.
