Public Order Maintenance in CIS Capitals Discussed

DUSHANBE, 14.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The 5th Meeting of Heads of Internal Affairs Bodies of the Capitals of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was held on July 11 in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by the heads of internal affairs departments from Baku, Yerevan, Minsk, Bishkek, Moscow, Ashgabat, Tashkent, and Dushanbe.
The delegation of Tajikistan was led by Shohrukh Saidzoda, Head of the Department of Internal Affairs for Dushanbe.
The participants discussed key issues related to ensuring public order in capital cities, security of vital urban infrastructure, the development of video surveillance systems, combating cybercrime, the use of artificial intelligence in crime prevention, as well as sharing experience on police coordination during mass events.
