DUSHANBE, 21.08.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The famous British tourist magazine Wanderlust published a rating of countries where it is easiest to get a tourist visa. The fourth place in the TOP-5 countries with a simplified visa procedure ranks Tajikistan.

The rating is led by Azerbaijan, followed by Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Tajikistan. The top five of the easiest to get visas closes Vietnam.

The authors of the rating note that an e-visa, simplifying the application process was introduced in Tajikistan last year. To apply, it is enough to send a copy of the passport. The visa is issued within 1-3 days. All that remains have to do is to print out the visa and take it with you during the trip. “Simple and easy, as it should be”, — emphasized in the material Wanderlust travel.

The cost of a visa to Tajikistan (the same for all countries) is $ 50.

We will recall that the Republic of Tajikistan enters to the ratings of the popular British magazine not for the first time. In April 2012, according to the magazine Wanderlust, Tajikistan entered to the top of the most attractive countries for tourists. At that time Tajikistan also took the honorable fourth place after Greenland, Sudan and Mongolia.

It should be noted that Tajikistan was then the only state from the CIS countries that was included in this list.

The rating of “Wanderlust” is formed on the basis of the readers’ opinion about which routes are the most attractive, as well as which cities, countries and tour operators are most in demand.

According to the Committee on Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the successful position of the republic in the international ratings of recent years is the result of the adoption of state programs on tourism development in Tajikistan.
