DUSHANBE, 10.11.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Asian Football Confederation has thanked the Football Federation of Tajikistan and the Dushanbe Football Club “Istiqlol” for the successful organizing AFC Cup-2017 final match, which was held at the Hisor Central Stadium on November 4.

According to the Football Federation of Tajikistan, in an official letter of the Secretary General of the Asian Football Confederation Dato Windsor John, which was addressed to the Secretary General of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Davlatmand Islomov, in particular, reads:

“On behalf of the AFC, I would like to congratulate the Football Federation of Tajikistan for the successful organizing AFC Cup-2017 final in Hisor. This success, undoubtedly, is a result of the hard work and tireless efforts of the Football Federation of Tajikistan and the football club “Istiqlol” (host club) in ensuring a high level of competitions.

Please extend my sincere gratitude to the local Organizing Committee for their excellent hospitality, shown to the AFC delegation and the guest club.

We hope that the successful holding of the AFC Cup final will spur the Football Federation of Tajikistan to hold other competitions and, in turn, will ensure the development of football in Tajikistan to new higher levels”.
