China Provides Tajikistan with Coronavirus Prevention Tools
DUSHANBE, 01.04.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – China has provided Tajikistan with tools to prevent and control the coronavirus COVID-19.
The Tajik side has been provided with reagent kits for detecting the nucleic acids of the coronavirus COVID-19, which will allow specialists to conduct 2000 studies, reports the Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan.
China also handed over to Tajikistan 1000 medical protective overalls, 500 pieces of non-contact thermometers for measuring temperature, 1000 pieces of medical glasses, 1000 pairs of disposable medical gloves and 1000 pairs of disposable medical shoe covers.
The handing over ceremony took place on March 30 at the Karasu border checkpoint on the Tajik-Chinese border in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO). The ceremony was attended by the head of the Health Department in GBAO Farid Muzaffarov.
