Sughd Administration Advises Postponing Non-Essential Trips to Cities and Districts
DUSHANBE, 12.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Sughd Province administration is advising citizens to refrain from traveling between cities and districts unnecessarily.
This recommendation was made yesterday during a meeting of the provincial commission on COVID-19 prevention, notes an employee of the provincial press center Muzaffar Yunusov.
“So far, the measures are purely advisory in nature, and as such there are no road closures. Further measures and recommendations will be taken depending on the changing situation with the spread of the virus,” notes Yunusov.
He explains that in connection with the emergence of coronavirus in Tajikistan, citizens should approach the issue of their health seriously and not to travel outside their regions and cities without urgent need, and if possible, to remain at home. This is especially true for those who are over 60-year-old, and therefore are deemed to be the risk group.
