Tourist Police Department Created in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 24.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Since July 22, a tourist police department began its activities under the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Dushanbe.
The department was organized within the framework of the instructions of the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali.
Its purpose is to provide legal assistance, escort and ensure the safety of tourists.
Domestic and foreign tourists can directly contact the capital’s tourist police at 0200 number.
This department is currently operating in test mode. In the future, employees are expected to provide 24-hour service to ensure the safety of domestic and foreign tourists.
