Tajikistan Attend Eleventh Senior Officials Meeting of the “Central Asia+ Japan” Dialogue
Dushanbe, 28.03.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — On March 25, 2016 in Tokyo Eleventh Meeting of Senior Officials of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue at the level of the Deputy Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Uzbekistan and the Special Representative of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held.
According to Tajikistan’s Embassy in Japan, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan was headed by First deputy foreign minister Nizomiddin Zohidi.
Parties exchanged views on the state and prospects of cooperation in a multilateral framework, including in areas such as security, trade and investment, transportation infrastructure and logistics, as well as cultural and humanitarian sphere.
During the meeting preparation process of the sixth Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Dialogue to be held in Ashgabat in 2016 were also discussed.
Within the framework of dialogue the delegation of Tajikistan held a meetings with the Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan Hiroshige Seko and Parliamentary Vice -Minister for Foreign Affairs of Miki Yamada.
