Deputy FM Huseinzoda Had a Telephone Conversation with Italian Counterpart
DUSHANBE, 29.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Huseinzoda had a telephone conversation with the Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italia Manlio di Stefano.
The parties exchanged views on the process of combating the COVID-19 pandemic, and also examined the prospects for bilateral cooperation in this area.
They also discussed the level of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Italy in various fields, including political, economic and humanitarian, as well as future joint activities scheduled for this year at the bilateral and international levels.
The parties emphasized the importance of organizing the planned bilateral summits and holding a business forum with the participation of representatives of leading companies and business circles of the two countries after the stabilization of the situation related with the pandemic.
Officials also considered issues relating to cooperation within the framework of EU and other international institutions.
