Holiday «Honey and melon — 2015» — a good opportunity to realize agricultural products
Dushanbe, 29.08.2015. (NIAT «Khovar»). — Holiday «Honey and melon — 2015» organized by the Ministry of Agriculture with the support of the execute body of state authority was held in major food markets of the capital, such as «Shohmansur,» Sakhovat «,» Qara bolo » and » Dehqon».
Citizens of Dushanbe could buy and taste different types of honey and the best varieties of melon grown by Tajik peasants.
At the holiday also were presented other kinds of agricultural products at reduced prices.
According to Tajik farmers and beekeepers, the events help not only to show the abundance of crop varieties of melon and honey in the country, but also to implement them.
According to the Department of crop production of the Ministry of Agriculture, crop this year’s harvest melons totaled 296815 tons, which is 64135 tons more than last year.
