Contribution of A.Azimova in the development of professional dance art in Tajikistan
Dushanbe, 08.12.2015.(NIAT»Khovar»). — Republican scientific-creative conference «The contribution of Professor Aziza Azimova in the development of professional dance art» and a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of People’s Artist of the Republic of Tajikistan A.Azimova has been held at the State Institute of Culture and Arts of Tajikistan named after M. Tursunzoda.
Vice-rector of the Institute professor R. Amirov held a deep analysis of the scientific, creative and pedagogical activity of A. Azimova, its enormous contribution to the development of professional dance art education of the whole galaxy of talented choreographers.
During the conference presented the book «Queen of Tajik Dance», which tells about the unknown pages of the life and work of A. Azimova, her courage and dedication, love and devotion to the chosen path.
A. Azimova made a significant contribution to the development of classical dance-ballet and national dance.
