Dushanbe, 19.01.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — Between Dushanbe and Beijing will be opened direct flights on February 21.

It should be noted that in May 2013 during the visit of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to China a communiqué on the opening of direct flights between the capitals of the two countries was signed. Based on this document on October 29 between Tajik air company “Tajik air” and Chinese tourism alliance was signed an Agreement to open direct flights Dushanbe-Beijing, which is operated by this alliance.

The need for the opening of the flight originated in connection with the growth of economic relations between Tajikistan and China.

According to the Director General of Chinese tourism Alliance Zhang Xiaoyu, the flight will play an important role in the development of the interaction and the unification of the two countries, as well as will become an important bridge for trade.

From Dushanbe International airport, the airplane will depart to Beijing every Monday. The flight duration will be 5 hours 30 min.

Specifically for this flight company “Tajik air” has purchased a new Boeing 757-200, equipped with modern equipment.

The airplane has 230 seats, 16 of which are for business class.
