Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia signed Agreement on air communication
Dushanbe, 06.01.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on January 2 departed with an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Minister of Transport of Tajikistan Sherali Ganjalzoda along with some officials of the country accompanied the Head of State on this visit.
During the visit an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on air communication was signed.
The leadership of the Islamic Development Bank stated that in the nearest future will send to Tajikistan a working group for acquaintance with the consequences of the devastating earthquake in Badakhshan, other natural disasters, as well as with the project reconstruction of sections of the Kulyab-Shurabad and Shkev-Qalai Khumb highway of Kulyab-Darvaz, and will take measures to provide operational assistance and financing of reconstruction of these roads.
