DCA Director meets with Azerbaijani Ambassador in Dushanbe
Dushanbe, 23.02.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — Meeting of the Director of Drug Control Agency (DCA) under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherkhon Salimzoda with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tajikistan Abbasali Hasanov was held on February 22 in Dushanbe.
During the meeting director of the Agency has acquainted the guest on the trends of development of the drug situation in Tajikistan and Central Asian region.
During the meeting the sides have discussed the issues of cooperation in the framework of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre (CARICC) in the field of fight against illegal drug trafficking and was presented an information on the experience of Tajikistan in conducting anti-drug activities.
In turn, Abbasali Hasanov has expressed hope for further strengthening of practical sides of cooperation.
