Dushanbe, 08.02.2016 (NIAT «Khovar»). — A regular meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held today under the chairmanship of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Head of Government of the country, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon.

During the review of the staff issue at the beginning of the meeting it was approved the new board of the Service for State Supervision over Safety in Industry and Mining.

A plan of action to implement the tasks voiced in the Annual Address by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan from January 20, 2016 has been approved.

In connection with the Action Plan for the implementation of tasks set in the Annual Address by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to  Majlisi Oli on 20 January 2016, President Emomali Rahmon stressed that the implementation of indicators in the whole of the Message of this year will play an important role in the enhancement of national dignity, identity and self-awareness of the population, as well as in the development of various socio-economic sectors, reducing the influence of external factors, as well as improving the credibility and image of our country on the world stage.

The draft laws on making amendments and additions to the existing laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, including the laws «On International Treaties of the Republic of Tajikistan», the Code of Administrative Offences as well as the Code of Criminal Procedure and to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan have been approved and forwarded to the Majlisi namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

To the consideration of the Majlisi namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli also have been submitted the conclusions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the draft law on amendments and additions to a number of existing laws, including the laws “On normative legal acts » and  the Law “On the Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Tajikistan».

The Action Plan for the development of the culture institutions for 2016-2020 and the general plan of Abdurahmoni Jomi town have also been approved.
