Writers of Navruz area’s countries to visit Panjakent and Darvoz

Dushanbe, 12.02.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — It is expected that the guests of International Symposium of writers of Navruz area’s countries that will be held on the eve of Navruz holiday in Tajikistan, will pay a visit to the ancient city of Panjakent and see the tomb of the father of Persian poetry, founder of classic literature Abuabdulloh Rudaki. At the same time, the participants of this high-level cultural event will travel to Darvoz district and visit the museum of known Tajik poet Mu’min Qanoat. On the occasion of International Symposium of writers of Navruz area’s countries, a copy of the film “The role of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in globalization of Navruz holiday” will be prepared for visitors in the form of CD. Within the framework of this event will be displayed the works of artists and books.

It should be noted that the International Scientific Symposium on Navruz will be held on March 19 and International Symposium of writers of Navruz area’s countries on March 20 in State complex “Kokhi Borbad” in Dushanbe. Writers, scientists and researchers of Navruz area’s countries have been invited to attend these great cultural events.

In this regard, Writers Union of Tajikistan for the high level holding of these cultural events has taken decision to conduct literary-poetry clubs, Navruz night parties with the participation of well-known Tajik poets and scientific meetings on Navruz. Also, the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Congress “Payvand” has been obliged to publish the poetry of poets of Navruz area’s countries.

It should be noted that the idea of holding of Symposium of writers of Navruz area’s countries was suggested last year by the prominent poet — Gulrukhsor Safieva during the traditional meeting of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with intelligentsia of the country.
