Leader of the nation unveiled monument to King Ismoili Somoni in Buston village of Mastchoh district
Dushanbe, 23.03.2016 (NIAT “Khovar”). – In the center of Buston village of Mastchoh district the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon unveiled in a solemn ceremony a majestic monument to the founder of the first Tajik state — King Ismoili Somoni.
Monument to Ismoili Somoni has been erected on the main avenue near the park of culture and recreation of the village.
President of the country has been reported that the height of the monument to King Ismoili Somoni with its pedestal is 12 meters, and it is the work of Meritorious Artist of Tajikistan Gafurdjon Juraev.
The central avenue and park where the monument is erected have been reconstructed, and they have become a great place for walking of residents and visitors of Mastchoh district.
Also the Palace of Culture of the district has been renovated and entrepreneur Mirzorahim Sharifov built and put into operation a new national teahouse.
President Emomali Rahmon here after opening new facilities and getting acquainted with the conditions of recreation and entertainment for the residents held an open conversation with the activists of Mastchoh district.
