Working meeting with management and activists of Sughd Region
Dushanbe, 26.03.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — In the afternoon of March 26, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a working meeting with leaders and activists of Sughd Region.
During the meeting, which was attended by heads of the republican ministries and agencies, Head of State analyzed indicators of socio-economic and cultural development of the region, cities and districts during the first 2 months of 2016, progress of sectors and reviewed the process of implementation of the previously issued instructions.
President Emomali Rahmon noted with satisfaction that in recent years hundreds of facilities and industrial enterprises were put into operation, thousands of hectares of new orchards and vineyards were erected, as well as cities and districts are gradually developing. In two months of this year 11 new industrial enterprises with 1,200 new jobs have been put in commission, which led to the improvement of people’s living standards.
