Dushanbe, 06.04.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. On Sunday April 3, the Second International Conference under the rubric «Contributions of Transoxiana in Enriching the Islamic Civilization”, was held in Alexandria, Egypt.
The Conference, organized by the Faculty of Literature of al-Wadi al-Jadid, the University of Asyut and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, attended by Egyptian and foreign scientists-orientalists as well as diplomats from the Central Asian countries accredited in Cairo.
Addressing the participants of the Conference, the Ambassador of our country Khusrav Noziri, noted the significant contribution of representatives of the Tajik people to the enrichment of the Islamic civilization in Transoxiana and expressed the hope for establishing and developing fruitful cooperation between scientific and research centers of Tajikistan and Egypt to jointly study the common rich cultural heritage.
