Japan Government completed GGP Project in education sector in Tojikobod District
Dushanbe, 01.04.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). On March 28, 2016, the Head of Public Relations of the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Tajikistan, Yu ISHIKAWA, visited the School No. 15 in Sabzazor Village, Langarishoh Jamoat of Tojikobod District and attend a handover ceremony to commemorate the successful completion of the project supported under the framework of Japans Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP).
The Project for Construction of an Additional Building for School No.15 in Sabzazor Village, Langarishoh Jamoat, Tojikobod District was realized through the scheme of GGP. The total grant amount of US$99,391 was provided to the local government of Tojikobod District from the Government of Japan for construction of a new school building with five classrooms and one teachers room. On this occasion, the local government of Tojikobod district also equipped the new school building with new desks, chairs, and blackboards.
Along with the schools students, teachers, director and parents, the handover ceremony was also attended by Mr. Alizoda HUSEIN, Chairperson of Tojikobod District, who during the ceremony extended his words of gratitude to the Government and people of Japan for their support.
