Majlisi Milli’s VI session to be convened in Dushanbe
Dushanbe, 13.04.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The VI (sixth) session of Majlisi milli (Upper House) of Majlisi Oli (Parliament) of the Republic of Tajikistan fifth convocation will be held on May 5 in Dushanbe. In this regard, the decision of the Chairman of Majlisi milli of the country has been signed.
According to the statement of the Upper House of Parliament, the important issues related to political, socio-economic and cultural life of the country will be discussed and passed at the session.
It is expected that the members of Majlisi milli will discuss and pass the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan on amendments to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, Code of execution of criminal punishments of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the introduction of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On detention procedures and conditions of suspects, accused persons and defendants”, amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On periodical press and other mass media”.
