“Open doors day” in the State medical institutions
Dushanbe, 8.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. “Today diabetes is a medical and social problem for Tajikistan. It is associated with increased complications and cause of disability”, — it was declared by the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population of the country Nasim Olimov during the press conference devoted to the World Health Day.
The Head of the WHO Office in Tajikistan Igor Pokanevich has noted that according to the WHO data since 2010 to 2014 the number of patients with diabetes mellitus in Tajikistan increased by 1.5 times.
We will remind that yesterday within the framework of World Health Day in Tajikistan were held the events for the providing of free diagnosis and consultation in all medical institutions.
