Regular Tajik — Turkish consultations on consular issues held in Turkey
Dushanbe, 21.04.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The regular consultations on consular issues between the Main Consular Department of the Republic of Tajikistan and consular office of the Republic of Turkey were held in Turkey on April 19.
Tajik delegation was headed by the Head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Ambassador Bahrom Kholnazarov, and the Turkish side — by the Head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Ambassador Mehmet Samsara.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, the sides exchanged views on a wide range of consular issues and outlined ways to further cooperation on legal assistance and rights of citizens.
The two sides also exchanged views on enhancing inter-agency cooperation in the joint counteraction against terrorism and extremism.
The consultations passed in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust.
