Tajik Prime Minister and EU Special Representative discussed bilateral relations
Dushanbe, 22.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Prime Minister of the country Kohir Rasulzoda on April 21 has met with the European Union /EU/ Special Representative for Central Asian countries here in Dushanbe.
At the meeting the issues of bilateral and regional relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and EU have been discussed.
The parties have exchanged views on implementation of “Multi-annual indicative program for 2014-2020” that includes the bilateral cooperation of Tajikistan and EU in the fields of rural development, education and health, as well as on the EU Strategy for Central Asian countries that strengthens the process of integration of region’s countries.
During the meeting the sides expressed satisfaction over the current state and prospects of relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union in the fields of mutual interest. It was stressed that the European Union gives priority in the process of broad cooperation with region’s countries to develop relations with the Republic of Tajikistan.
