Dushanbe, 8.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. “Round table of such scale with the participation of women-entrepreneurs of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan is being held for the first time in Tajikistan.
The aim of the event is exchange of experience, recommendations, familiarization with state support of women’s entrepreneurship in Tajikistan, which is carried out at the high level”, — the Chairman of the National association of women entrepreneurs “Kadbonu”, Board member of Business association of women entrepreneurs “ASIA” Sabohat Rahimzoda said in an interview with the correspondent of NIAT “Khovar” during the round-table “Women entrepreneurs in Central Asia: Experience, calls and prospects for development” on April 7 in Dushanbe.
She has added that thanks to the care of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon we became the first country to have issued the decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan “On strengthening the role of women in society”, and which approved the grants of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan for women entrepreneurs.
“Annually about 80 presidential grants are issued to support women’s entrepreneurship, which cover all sectors of the country’s development. It has allowed to increase the number of women entrepreneurs in hundreds times. If, since the beginning of formation of country’s independence there were only 64 women entrepreneurs, today this figure has reached about 160 thousand. Our goal is to expand cooperation with the countries of Central Asia and Afghanistan, create a joint venture, continue the work of our ancestors of Silk Road”, — she has concluded.
