88, 3% of Tajikistan’s voters take part in constitutional referendum as of 18:00 pm
Dushanbe, 22.05.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. As of 18:00 p.m., 88, 3% of Tajikistan’s voters took part in the vote in the nationwide referendum on introduction of amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan on Sunday.
According to the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda, from 68 district commissions for referendum, two hours before the end of voting, 3 million 888 thousand 388 voters have cast ballots.
Polling stations in Tajikistan opened on Sunday at 6 a.m. local time, when over 4 million bulletins published for the holding of a nationwide referendum on introduction of amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.
More than 120 international observers from the Commonwealth of Independent States, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly and the diplomatic corps accredited in Tajikistan, as well as more than 381 representatives of local non-governmental organizations are monitoring the vote.
