CASA-1000 Project implementation kicks off in Tajikistan
Dushanbe, 12.05.2016 /NIA “Khovar”/. Today, the official launching ceremony of the implementation of the project of transmission and trade of electricity Central Asia – South Asia /CASA-1000/ will be held in Tajikistan with the participation of all senior officials of four countries-participants of the project, representatives of International financial institutions, CASA-1000 Secretariat, donor organizations and partners.
The official launching ceremony will be attended by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif.
