CEO Abdullah Abdullah arrives in Tajikistan to attend the launching ceremony of CASA-1000 Power Project
Dushanbe, 12.05.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Dr. Abdullah Abdullah on Wednesday arrived on a two-day working visit to Tajikistan to attend the launching ceremony of CASA-1000 Power Project.
He was received at the International airport of Dushanbe by Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda and other officials.
It should be noted that during top level talks between President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani the implementation of projects in the fields of energy and the development of transport and transit infrastructure, the regional project CASA-1000 will increase the supply of electricity to Afghanistan were discussed .
Tajikistan last year transferred to Afghanistan 1 billion 200 mln. kW / h of electricity and for the 4 months of this year 250 mln. KW / h of electricity.
