Leader of the Nation inaugurates the House of officers of the Ministry of Defence of Tajikistan
Dushanbe, 05.05.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. Today, in Dushanbe city the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon inaugurated the House of officers of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During familiarization with the new and modern building President Emomali Rahmon informed that the construction works were launched in 2012. The 19 million USD officers’ House was built in the framework of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and China by grant assistance of China.
The building consists of five floors, a large gym, a swimming pool, sauna, massage rooms and others are located in its basement.
On the ground floor there is a large modern dining room, equipped with operating rooms, various service centers, beauty saloon, shop, as well as a medical center, equipped with all necessary facilities for treatment and first aid.
Also on the second and third floors of the building for recreation and entertainment of officers and guests there are a canteen and a Chinese hotel with 20 rooms for 40 guests, an assembly hall for a variety of meetings, e-library and a small reading room.
Auditoriums with 200 seats, as well as a hall for press conferences are located at the fourth and fifth floors of the officers’ House. In general, along with other service centers and leisure, there are 68 living rooms in the building with all the necessary conditions.
