Dushanbe, 31.05.2016 (NIAT “Khovar”). – A regular meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held today under the chairmanship of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Head of Government of the country Emomali Rahmon.

At the beginning of the meeting personnel issue was considered.

Then, the report of the Chairman of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni of Khatlon Region «On the fulfillment of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On local bodies of state authority» and the Law» On the self-governing bodies of settlements and villages» was heard.

Members of the Government, in particular, approved and submitted to Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli a number of draft laws «On payment services and payment procedures», «On introduction of changes and amendments to the Customs Code of the Republic of Tajikistan» as well as the draft of the Law «On introduction of changes and amendments to the Town-planning Code of the Republic of Tajikistan”.

For consideration of Majlisi namoyandagon were also presented conclusions of the Government of Tajikistan to the draft Law «On state policy in the sphere of industry» and the draft Law «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On metrology».

The draft decisions on the proposals of Majlis deputies of Sughd Region «On renaming the Nov township of Spitamen district of Sughd Region to Navkat township» and On the model regulation of comprehensive education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan were also considered.

At the end of the meeting, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, Head of the Government of the country Emomali Rahmon gave concrete instructions to the members of the Government and heads of other relevant ministries and agencies with respect to the mandatory and timely resolution of issues discussed at the next meeting of the Government of Tajikistan and other important issues of society.
