Newly-appointed Ambassador of Tajikistan handed over his credentials to Chinese President Xi Jinping
Dushanbe, 19.05.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Parviz Davlatzoda, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the People’s Republic of China presented his credentials to the Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
The President congratulated the Ambassador on assuming his duties and wished him success and fruitful work for the benefit of the development of bilateral friendly relations.
Chinese Leader noted that China and Tajikistan are good neighbors and mutually beneficial fruitful cooperation has been established between the two countries as good partners.
Ambassador conveyed warm greetings to President of China as well as good wishes and prosperity to the friendly people of China on behalf of the President of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon.
Ambassador Parviz Davlatzoda stressed that Tajikistan attaches great importance to developing good-neighborly relations, friendship and cooperation with China, which is one of the priorities of the foreign policy of his country. Due to the high level of political trust and close friendship the Tajik-Chinese relations of strategic partnership are characterized by dynamic development of political, economic and humanitarian ties.
It was expressed satisfaction over the positive results of cooperation between the two countries in the field of security, the dynamic growth of bilateral trade, the successful development of cooperation in the implementation of several major projects of regional significance. An important tool in expanding economic cooperation between the two countries can serve a timely initiative of the President Xi Jinping on the joint formation of «economic zone» Silk Road.
Davlatzoda assured that he would make every effort for the fruitful development and deepening of bilateral good-neighborly relations between friendly countries and peoples.
