Newly-appointed Ambassador of Tajikistan handed over the copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia
Dushanbe, 5.05.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. Zarobiddin Qosimi, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presented copies of his credentials to the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al Jubeir.
In the course of the conversation held within the framework of the ceremony the sides exchanged views on ways to strengthen and expand friendly relations and fruitful cooperation between their countries.
Particular attention was paid to the ways of implementation of the documents signed during the official visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in January current year, as well as many of the agreements reached in those days.
In addition, among the main topics of conversation were the issues of attracting investments and fraternal support for the development of Tajikistan.
The parties confirmed their willingness and interest in expanding and making full use of existing opportunities for cooperation in various fields.
We will recall that by president’s decree Zarobiddin Qosimi, who had previously served as Director of the National Information Agency of Tajikistan “Khovar”, was appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 29, replacing Azamsho Sharifi, who was appointed Assistant to the President on Foreign Relations on January 27.
